A photograph of the coastline of Iceland from a drone shows the rocks and cliffs that make up the coast, as well as some small pieces of ice.
The image captures one moment in time at this location along the Icelandic Coastline where there are large mounds made out of black rock. The rest is all ocean which varies between blue to green depending on how deep it is.
Cheap Wall Art | Printable Wall Art - Iceland Mountains by Drone
This photograph of Iceland's mountain landscape was taken by a drone. The mountains in this image were captured from the air, showing off their jagged peaks and green valleys to full effect against a backdrop of pure blue sky giving you an idea what it might be like flying over them on your way towards North America or Europe.

A stunning series of photographs from the Icelandic landscape is captured by a drone.
Iceland valley photography, taken with an aerial perspective and drones, gives viewers a new insight into Iceland's natural beauty. A landslide in Þórsmörk (a nature reserve) last year has created hundreds of thousands cubic meters worth of waterfalls that now flow alongside black beaches which contrast heavily with white snow caps on nearby mountains as well as hot springs creating steam clouds nearby farmlands all while the sun sets behind it giving off different tones throughout its process such as pink to blue-purple hues across the sky at night time making for some truly awe inspiring picturesque scenes along coastal fjords.
Chicago From Above - The Field Museum
I’ve been really enjoying my DJI Mavic Air this past year and I’m working on some more interesting aerial shots of Chicago. Attached is an image I took over by the Field Museum on a nice summer day. I can’t wait to get the drone back up in the air to see what else I can capture in this amazing city I call home!
Drone Over Chicago's Grant Park
Drones are pretty amazing little tools. They can fly for miles, shoot 4k video and shoot raw images. I've been shooting some random B roll of Chicago and thought I would put together a little video to share with everyone. I expect to do more of these little videos in the upcoming months. Enjoy!
North Avenue Drone Flight
I still get butterflies when I fire up my DJI Phantom. It may be because I like to fly in locations where the drone is at danger and may result in a expensive piece of machinery in a lake or ocean. Either way, what fun is it to fly if you aren't going to go to cool locations? This Saturday was no exception. A windy overcast sunrise and I've got this badboy way out over the water. I've been to the location a lot of times but I'm still trying to capture the image I have in my head. The footage is fun to watch so enjoy.
Chicago From Above - The Preview
Some of you may or may not know that before I was into still photography I was into making short films. Well, short films may be a generous statement but I dabbled in making amateurish videos of me and my friends. I've never stopped dreaming of making short films but my mind and time has been focused on producing great still photography. Things have changed a bit now that I have my DJI Phantom 2 Vision+.
The videos and angles I can now capture have opened my mind to endless possibilities. Places I could never access are well within my reach. The Phantom is not the best camera I've ever used but it is more than serviceable and shoots RAW files. Since purchasing the Phantom a few months ago, I've become much more comfortable flying it and have started to explore the neighborhood where I live.
Since starting to fly I've discussed putting together a video of Chicago with one of my friends who is an excellent editor. We are in the process of shooting all the footage and expect to shoot throughout the summer and possibly into the fall. Below is a preview of some of the video I've shot so far. It includes the Adler Planetarium, redeveloped Northerly Island and a few other iconic views of Chicago. If you like the project, consider donating using the Vimeo tip jar. It will help fund all the coffee we will need for the late night edits. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy the video.
