The blue sky and the clear water of Vernazza, Italy is perfect for those who want to take a break from their stressful lives. It's unique position on top of steep cliffs makes its place among other towns all over Europe special.

Riomaggiore is a small seaside town in the province of La Spezia, Italy. It’s located within Cinque Terre National Park and has approximately 1,000 residents. The historic center consists of narrow alleyways lined by medieval buildings with pastel-colored facades that run uphill from an old fishing port to castle ruins at the top above sea level overlooking Riomaggiore bay below it.

A skyline of high-rise buildings and skyscrapers is visible on a picture taken from North Avenue Beach in Chicago, Illinois. The Lake Shore Drive runs through the center of the image with Navy Pier to its left. During the summer months this area is very populated with locals enjoying the amazing Chicago lakefront. I prefer to see the sunrise from this location.

Paris is filled with amazing sights at almost every turn. These doors caught my eye the last time I was in Paris and after I got home they turned out to be one of my favorite photos. Paris is an amazing place and I bet there are hundreds of doors that look just like this one.

The Manhattan Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in New York, and it connects Brooklyn to Lower Manhattan. It was completed on December 31st 1883 after nearly 13 years of construction by German immigrant John Augustus Roebling who tragically died from tetanus poisoning before its completion due to an accident with his footwork while digging for some foundation poles near the site where he wanted them planted. The bridge has two levels that are both 180 feet above water level allowing ships through at all times which can be seen today as over 60,000 vessels pass underneath every year. On a clear day you could see 100 miles away across 5 states including famous landmarks like Niagara Falls.

The lighthouse at the end of Navy Pier is a famous landmark in Chicago. It was originally built to help boats navigate through rough weather and today continues to serve as an important navigation point for ships going into or out of port on Lake Michigan.
The iconic 150-foot structure that rests high above the waters near downtown Chicago has been guiding sailors safely home since it first opened more than 100 years ago, making its appearance on countless postcards.

Grand Central Station is one of New York's most famous landmarks. It was built in 1913 to be used as a train station, but now it has become more known for its sky-high ceilings and gigantic arches that are adorned with gold accents all throughout the building. Grand Central holds an impressive amount of people every day who travel through this terminal on their way home or out into the city itself.

This is a photograph of the famous Flatiron building in NYC. It was built in 1902 and designed by Daniel Burnham, who also designed Grand Central Terminal which you can see to its right here under that white archway. Its nickname comes from how it looks like an iron when viewed at just the perfect angle with one corner pointing toward New York City's Madison Square Park where this photo was taken near 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue.
